Afternoon New Music 7/23/07

Chamber music, for a muggy day in New York City.

We began with this album of Enno Poppe, listened to in its entirety.

Then we moved on to Richard Barrett. After playing so much Furt over the past couple of weeks, it was just about time to hear some of his chamber music. We heard almost the entire disc, excepting the final track for electric guitar and live electronics.
